Impact Welcomes Laurie Flanagan, Director of Development

Impact is please to announce the hiring of Laurie Flanagan as Director of Development. Laurie has a passion for bringing together diverse stakeholders to help organizations thrive. She takes pride in her ability to work collaboratively with staff, board members, foundations, and donors to reach resource development goals. “I look forward to working with the experienced and passionate staff here at Impact to expand the reach of their services to individuals living with serious mental illness,” says Laurie.

Prior to joining Impact, Laurie was the Executive Director of the Massachusetts 4-H Foundation, where she raised money to support and enhance 4-H youth development and STEM programs throughout the state. Her professional career also includes 12 years spent at D.C. Heath and Company, an educational publisher, where she was the Director of International Marketing and Sales, a role that took her all over the world.

Laurie is a native New Englander, growing up in a 6th generation dairy farming family from Maine. Laurie graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, ME with a B.A. in Economics. She and her husband moved from Boston to Evanston to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law, and their three grandsons.
